Methodology

Centimeters = Inches × 2.54. Row feet per acre = 43,560 sq ft / (Row spacing in inches / 12). At 30-inch rows, there are 17,424 row feet per acre. At 15-inch rows, there are 34,848 row feet per acre — double the row feet.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

• Changing row spacing without adjusting seeding rate — narrower rows need proportionally more seed per acre.
